VisionQuest’s Madalyn-Rite of Passage is a JCAHO accredited Behavioral Health, gender-specific residential program for girls with mental health issues. The program provides a challenging and diverse array of daily activities designed to help girls to deal with their issues and develop skills for successful living. It combines psychosocial treatment with career-focused community service and work experience. The program is designed so that all activities and interactions possess therapeutic possibilities, while staff are attuned to capitalizing on those "teachable moments" that present themselves. At all times, staff reinforce positive social skills by modeling acceptable norms, and appropriate behaviors, and through demonstrative processes.
