Madalyn at Lady of the Lakes is a JCAHO accredited Behavioral Health residential program for pregnant girls and teenage mothers with mental health issues, where both the young women and their children live in a family-like atmosphere. The focus of the program for pregnant girls is effective prenatal and postnatal care and learning successful parenting skills. The emphasis for teen mothers is practicing effective parenting skills and developing a positive, appropriate relationship with their child. In addition to learning parenting skills, all young women receive clinical services to address their own individual treatment needs. All babies in the program receive care from their mothers under the supervision of staff and are in on-grounds day care during school hours.
