VisionQuest offers Functional Family Therapy throughout the state of Pennsylvania including Philadelphia, Chester County, and Dauphin County, Functional Family Therapy is a highly-effective family-based, in-home therapeutic service that helps family members to strengthen their ability to work together and successfully solve problems of concern to the family.
Each family in the program meets weekly in their home with a trained FFT therapist. With the therapist’s support, family members identify goals they wish to achieve in order to address issues of concern. The therapist works with the family until they have achieved their goals and successfully generalized their new competencies gained to other life issues.
During the generalization phase, the therapist refers family members to needed community resources that will support the positive changes they have made. If, after completing the program, there is a relapse, the FFT Therapist can provide "booster sessions" to the family.
Referrals for this program are received via court order , Managed Care Company, or private pay.
