Peter J. Ranalli- Biography

As Chief Executive Officer of VisionQuest, Peter J. Ranalli is responsible for the setting the strategic direction and vision, creating and maintaining a positive company culture and building the senior management team. It is a job for which Pete is eminently well-suited having worked in almost every position there is at VisionQuest over the past 30+ years.

In 1979 while attending the University of Arizona, Pete was hired as a youth counselor at a VisionQuest group home in Tucson. He "graduated" from there to VisionQuest's wagon train program - where, at age 21, he became the company's youngest Wagon Master ever. In that capacity, he logged over 1,000 miles leading young people on extraordinary life-changing experiences that crisscrossed the United States.

Under Pete's leadership, VisionQuest has grown to become a nationwide provider of behavioral health treatment services for at-risk adolescents. His vision is to provide a network of care in which both the youth and the staff are supported to succeed in reaching their highest potential.

Pete's sight is currently set on ensuring that VisionQuest's legacy is carried forward into the future. He is focused on cultivating new leadership that shares the same sense of vision and commitment as the organization's founding leaders. To this end, he has established a strong succession plan to develop the skills of the best and brightest young leaders from within the company's ranks. Pete says, "VisionQuest became what it is through the extraordinary dedication of some extraordinary individuals. We want to hold on to that spirit while we continue to evolve as the leading provider of treatment services that truly change kids' lives."
