What changes a “problem child” to one of promise?

For nearly 35 years, VisionQuest has been leading the way to answering that question.

Across the United States, VisionQuest residential and community-based programs are transforming troubled lives. We work with young people who pose tough challenges for their families, their schools and their communities – adolescents who defy parental rules, engage in risky behaviors, exhibit significant mental health problems, or have committed delinquent acts.

At VisionQuest, we seek to reach kids in ways that are both practical and profound. While it’s critical to get destructive “acting out” behaviors under control, we believe it’s equally important to nurture a young person’s spirit and soul. That’s why we use a multi-faceted, whole-person approach.

We use innovative treatment methods that open kid’s eyes – first to engage them, and then to help them discover new possibilities for life. In VisionQuest programs, young people find themselves surprised, challenged, inspired, sometimes confused – but always growing. It’s the path to a new start.
